It is a complete single-cell lithium-ion battery using a constant current/constant voltage linear charger. Its packaging and low external component count make it ideal for portable applications. Can be suitable for B power supply and adapter power supply work. Due to the internal architecture and reverse charging circuitry, external sense resistors and isolation diodes are not required. Thermal feedback regulates charge current to limit chip temperature during high-power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The charging voltage is fixed at , while the charging current can be set externally via a resistor.
When the charging current drops to the set value after reaching the final float voltage, the charging cycle will be automatically terminated.
When the input voltage (AC adapter or B power supply) is removed, it automatically enters a low current state, reducing battery leakage current to below. It can also be put into shutdown mode to reduce the supply current. Other features include a charge current monitor, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge and a status pin to indicate end of charge and input voltage input
